Democratic control of the Armed and Security Forces
- To impart the concept of "Innere Führung/Citizen in uniform" in the ranks in general and the senior officers of the Armed Forces in particular and thus enlighten on democratic institutions and their operating mode
- To consolidate the knowledge of the rights and duties of the citizen in uniform in a democratic context
- To reinforce the military elites' knowledge of the democratic modes of control of the Armed Forces and to provide a forum for exchanges between them and the politicians

Strengthening of Democratic institutions and processes: Constitutional state, Political parties and Elections
- To contribute to the enlightenment of the basics of the Constitutional State and the workings of its institutions
- To improve the understanding of the tasks of the political parties for a better visibility and impact of their actions in the Parliament
- To support democratic elections by means of sensitisation and formation programmes for voters, among others to increase the percentage of the women share in the electoral register
- Promotion of gender participation and equality in political party and parliamentary politics as a cross-cutting task
